you wont believe wad happened in phukett
k.heres my experince on the tidal wave and earthquakee
kk.lets skipp the first few days i spent in phukett.
i will say what happened on the 26 of dec 2004.
ard 8 plus the building shook
i was sleeping but woke up only when
i heard my mum calling the operater to ask if its a earthquake
i asked my mum what happened and she said they called to
say its strong windd
we went back to sleep
my fam and i woke upp ard 9 pluss going to 10.
my mum wanted to go to this tour on this island on boat
but sis was sea sick so we decided to go to the beach after breadfast.
we woke up went down to eat.
ard 10am plus ppl started running towards us frm the
beach direction.
we thot what happen.ppl injured or what.
so we saw a man running and asked him
he said " BIG WAVE!!BIG WAVE!"
then we ran.
i turn back the whole of the garden outside the restraunt
was already FLOODED!
water was still flowing
we ran upstairs to take a look
and saw the whole place in a mess!
a total mess
beach benches everywhere.refridgeraters.cupboards.chairs.
tables.everyting EVERYWHERE FLOATING.
ppl took cameras to snap.
some took video.
and the manager said it was the first time in phuket thailand
we went down after awhile and i saw
ppl swimming back hurriedly.
some badly injured.
bleeding so badly.
esp. i still remembered.
theres the old man in his swimming trunks.he walked into the hotel dripping wet.
his leg was so badly injured.bleeding.
ppl bent down to ask if he needed help.
he can only speak german
ppl wipe his blood away but he seem to be
telling us something.
but we could not understand.
i remembered his face.depressed looking and waving his hands and shaking his head.trying to say.uh.forget it .whatever i say you all wont get it.
he's bleeding but he dont seem to be moaning in pain.
he seem to be more worried abt something else.
suddenly after awhile a womam in a swim suit came running
and she hugged him so tightly!
and cried.
no wonder!!he was like trying to tell us to find his wife.
asking us to seek help to try to find his wife as he
believe she is ard that area.
i was so touched when they both coule see each other again.
its diffcult to explain that kind of happiness when you see
such things tht you can even break into tears.
i was so happpy for the both of them :))))
but helicopters came.police.ambulance.trying to save ppl's lives
ppl were rowing boats trying to save some other ppl left
helplessly hanging on to something there.
that scene was excectly alike on tv
when i see floods.the whole land with water.
i thanked GOD that i was saved.
what a experince.
I'LL NEVER FORGET.
seeing a natural disaster in front of my naked eyes
when i reached singapore,many reporters.tv crew
were asking us questions.contact number.name.to take pictures.
whao.its like never before.
thats my ENTIRE EXPERINCE IN MY WHOLE LIFEE
