Today was funnnnn.
but the first part of the day was freakkyyyy.
i lost my wallet.
like after one yr plus of not losing it, i finally did again.
and we were still talking abt the other day and i said its been long since i last lost mine,
and bammmm! It happened today.
its murfys law.
okay so ive no idea where i dropped it, i thought it was at the fountain at raffles city mall.
cus i went there and theres this weird old woman that kept talking to me. and when i went back to search my wallet, i told her i cant find, she scolded me. say i careless. wtheck i dont even know her!
ard 10 mins after i left the place i found out due to the need of taking out ic and slip to report for
work at the sercurity, i ran back.
and its not there.
i went to the info counter, no one reported.
so i really thought someone stole it or smth.

but..
the unthinkable happened.
haha.
prepare for a long story.
i called mel, told her i cant work also cus my Ic and everything is in my wallet.
and its gone.
then she said, no, my ic and the slip to work is in my bag.
so i recalled that ytd night after work i was too lazy to place it back into my wallet, so i
just dumped it into my bag.
Thankfullllyyyy right.
if not, 100 bucks ++ GONE.
so i was like, okay phew. heng ahhh, at least not so bad.
then so i left my contact number, everything, fill in the form at the info counter and ran to work.
thank you mel and bird for helping me pass the slip and Ic first and also getting the tee for me.
so i can change directly at the shop's room.

made things a lot easier.
so i was pretty moodless when i first started work today.
cause thinking abt going home, also got problem.
travelling and all.
and there was some lion dance going ard every store and raffles hotel, and it was our shop's turn soon.
like 10mins later.
and i was like. sian.
so when we heard the lion dance crew coming, we walked towards the back, dad was there.
wanted to tell him abt my wallet.
untill this manager came in from the back door, walked beside my dad, and said,
whos sylvia chee?
and im like. -gives that oh shit face.
& say oh its me.
and i saw my wallet on his hand!
i screamed haha.
went into the shops room to tell bird and mel heard also.

so then i got a lot happppierrr.
and just nice, to ease the whole suspense, the lion dance came in, just in time.
so then work was crazyly fun, esp after 4pm.
haha cus dad wasnt ard.
then we got crazy with sophia, lex and michael.
they behave like theyre same age as us la please.
lex is damn nice to disturb.
he always threaten to call my dad cus i always shake his shoulders and call him Li ax.
then i'll go. " i highly suspect an abnormal relationship btw you and my dad. Keep calling each other. even when youre off. "
hahahaha.
then he'll like try to hit me.
michael is the ultimate. best manger in the world.

bird started the calling him of Mi Ku.
and he always laugh with us.
and he is never. never fierce to anyone.
at least we've never seen that side.
he even faked a foreingers voice when me and mel were over at the raffles gift shop.
i went, raffles gift shop, sylvia at service.."
and he spoke super weirdly, and im like, i beg your pardon?
in a polite way.
then hew laughed.
so i went like, wth mi ku! then bird talked to us over the phone, fooling ard.
telling us the shop has no one. can catch flies.
haha.

sophia, needless to say.

forever saying we're super rough then when i touch her, she aiyooo... aiyooo!
haha, today morning ask us why we so quiet.
then she orhhh, and she winked and say, 4pm is coming. (cus my dad is leaving)
dont worry, then can go crazy and loud already.

okay yes and i felt as though the WHOLE HOTEL KNEW I LOST MY WALLET.
me and birdie was walking to the staff toilet.
in front check in area with security.
in case youre picturing security with guardhouse, its different.
they're behind counters.
helping ppl checking in.
okay then the two security gaurds looked at us, and we smiled then they started talking.
" so found your wallet not? "
then im like yes yes, courtyard's manager returned.
but i told them i thought i left it at the fountain at raffles city mall, and im not sure how it ended up at his hands.
then they said, oh someone asked them whos sylvia, where is she working.
and im still confused how they even know i work at raffles hotel.
we talked for awhile, then went toilet.
after that, we walked aout, went pass the laundry area, the laundry woman asked.
" so how girl, found your wallet?"
im like yes, oh you also know? -laughs. then say thanks for asking.
then me and bird were laughing.

so we both were wondering how the wallet even came abt to the hands of raffles hotel ppl.
and we wanted to find out.
so we went to courtyard. (a wide dining area in a open space) to find the manager.
made afew friends.
the chiefs there were damn friendly.
talked to the waiters there.
and i asked one, cause he looked at me as though he know me, and i said, oh you know abt the wallet too?
then he said, yes not only that, i saw your picture.
haha, then they asked me to find the manger later.

so during dinner break mel bird and I did.
then the manager told us some customer saw and passed it to him
and etc la.
& he prolly must have showed the other waiters my wallet, and my ezlink.
thats why they know.
now, i feel so pai seh to walk ard courtyard.
what a thing to know me for, girl that lost her wallet.

yess okay.
anyway im super scared i really lost it after today.
so yes i'll be more careful.

AND AND YESTERDAY, during work,
rosanne and grace came!
talked to them. laugh laugh laugh then they went for their Tcc interview.
& grace told me they couldnt find the place and ended up making one whole big round.
best denki.
